Parading

Here we are in our bodies,

“Hey. You’re doing fine.”

That because of him

and live for awhile as though they expected life

That country is there, for us,

I try not to imagine the uses for my voice.

In the valley

Someone has put cries

when we are dirt poor

I do not know whether it is morning     or mourning,
