Parading

Balm of the summer night, balm of the ordinary,

to have been aware of the circle of water

All I have to do

We share the sky, all of us, the whole world:

I listened for voices

Let go the pain you are holding in your mind, your shoulders,

What is reliable? What do you hold?

like a painting that I studied

Grant us a moment to uncover

a force that changes things.
